Decentralized: Nest Egg aims to create a permission-free, unstoppable network for asset management.
Non-custodial: users retain ownership of their funds, investment managers cannot walk away with investors' money.
Social: Fund managers have a direct line to their investors, so investors know the reasons behind their decisions.
The marketplace allows investors to invest their capital in a variety of strategies based on a transparent track record. Nest Egg also offers choice to those who prefers to enjoy a tailor custodial asset management experience with a complete automated suite.
Brief Overview: Nest Egg Network is a platform that enables managers to create and customize the best decentralized hedge funds and helps investors take control of their investments.
It offers custom features that allow fund managers to automate and simplify all operations in a typical mutual fund.
Fund managers can use the platform features to track the net asset value of their fund/portfolio (NAV) per unit, accounting for investor's units, record and report fund operations and performance in a slick manner.
A mutual fund involves the release of an internal unit (token) that represents all the assets of the fund. The price per unit is simple:
Price per unit = total value of all assets of the fund / number of units
Deposits and withdrawals should therefore have no impact on the price of the unit. Mutual funds must issue new units each time they make a deposit and burn units each time they make a withdrawal. For this purpose, the issuance and the mechanisms for issuing and burning coins are automated.
