The EGG Token
EGG is the native token of Nest Egg and is issued by the Nest Egg network. The value of the token is derived from the network fee revenue generated by the purchase and subsequent redistribution of network tokens in exchange for network-promoting behaviour (buy-and-distribute), combined with a supply cap.
During the initial 1-year launch period, network fees accrue to the network. Thereafter, network fees are used to purchase EGG tokens, with a portion distributed to EGG token-stakers and the remainder redistributed to users as part of the perpetual performance mining program.
A unique value proposition of EGG is that holders can charge a management fee on the Nest Egg Network. EGG will hold its token generation event (TGE) on Avalaunch in Q2 2022. The total offering will be set at 1,000,000,000 EGG. The details of the fee will be determined by the EGG token holders and is currently 10%.
